At the end of the day,
We come to this table to be together.
Together we give thanks for the light,
The source of all.
Together we give thanks for this food,
Our bodies’ sustenance.
Together we give thanks for each other,
Our souls' nourishment.
Blessed Be.
Amen.
Shabbat Prayer
At the end of the week,
We come to this table to be together
And to give thanks for the structure of days and weeks,
Of work and rest.
Together we give thanks for the light,
The source of all.
Together we give thanks for the fruit of
the vine,
The bread from the earth and all food at this table,
Our bodies’ sustenance.
Together we give thanks for each other,
Our souls' nourishment.
